About the Role:
As a Junior Software Developer within the Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services industry, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications primarily using Java. You will collaborate closely with senior developers and cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and contribute to the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring high-quality and efficient software solutions. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow technical expertise and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and innovative environment. Your contributions will directly impact the delivery of scalable and reliable software products that meet client needs. Responsibilities:
- Participate in the design, coding, testing, and debugging of Java-based applications.
- Collaborate with team members to gather and analyze software requirements.
- Assist in the documentation of software functionality and development processes.
- Support the maintenance and enhancement of existing software systems.
- Engage in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and performance.
- Work within the Software Development Life Cycle to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues as they arise.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-4 years of experience in software development.
- Proficiency in Java or Python programming language with a solid understanding of object-oriented principles.
- Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodologies.
- Basic knowledge of software debugging and testing techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Exposure to web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Understanding of database concepts and SQL.
