About the Role:
As a Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient technology solutions that align with business objectives within the professional, scientific, and technical services industry. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that proposed architectures meet both current and future business needs. Your expertise in middleware and application integration will enable seamless connectivity between diverse systems, enhancing operational efficiency. Leveraging your deep knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and enterprise architecture principles, you will guide technical teams through the development lifecycle to deliver robust solutions.
Location: Remote. The selected candidate must be currently located in, or willing to relocate to, one of the states supported by Tripoint Solutions corporate offices: AL, CO, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, LA, MD, MN, MS, NC, NJ, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, or VA. (No relocation assistance provided.)

Responsibilities:
- Engage with business and technical stakeholders to gather and document detailed requirements for new and existing systems.
- Design comprehensive solution architectures that incorporate middleware, application integration, and cloud services, primarily using AWS.
- Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks to ensure alignment with organizational standards and long-term technology strategies.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to oversee the implementation of architectural designs and ensure quality delivery.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements and innovative solutions that enhance business processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in designing IT solutions.
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role.
- Strong expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) including designing and deploying cloud-based solutions.
- Demonstrated knowledge of middleware technologies and application integration patterns.
- Experience in requirement gathering and translating business needs into technical architecture.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional certifications.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or equivalent cloud architecture certification.
- Strong background in systems integration and enterprise architecture.
- Background in business process modeling and improvement initiatives.
