Job Summary

• Seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to work in a cloud environment platform, built with Java on Free and Open-Source Software products including Kubernetes, Hadoop and Accumulo, to enable the execution of data-intensive analytics on a managed infrastructure

Primary Responsibilities

• Ensure day-to-day operations stability
• Provide customer support
• Apply knowledge in technical and troubleshooting repair expertise
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment who is self-motivated and proactively completes tasks with strong attention to detail

Required Qualifications

• Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
• Fourteen (14) years of experience is required
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or in a related technical field is highly desired which will be considered equivalent to two (2) years of experience
• A Master's degree in a Technical Field will be considered equivalent to four (4) years of experience
• A degree in Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, or similar degree will be considered
• Strong background in troubleshooting operational issues in a Linux environment
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Hadoop and scripting experience such as python and bash
• One of the following certifications required:
• • AWS Certified Developer-Associate
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect-Associate
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect-Professional
  • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator-Associate
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKAD)
  • Elastic Certified Engineer
  • Elastic Certified Observability Engineer
• DoD 8570 IAT Level I or higher required

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with Prometheus, JIRA, Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS), Virtualization, Salt/ Ansible, Grafana, Openstack and AWS

Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate's experience and qualifications.

The pay range for this role is:

165,000 - 230,000 USD per year (NBP)
