System Engineer

The Opportunity:

Work as a Systems Engineer as part of a team with Booz Allen colleagues, industry partners, and DoD clients to support design, implementation, testing, and deployment of sustainment and modernization projects. Lead systems engineering and program management functions in support of design reviews, proposal evaluation, and requirements verifications. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Make sound decisions, take independent action, analyze problems, and provide focused solutions while effectively communicating information to various audiences through verbal and written communication.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience with space launch or range mission execution
• Knowledge of systems engineering disciplines and best practices
• Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
• Ability to learn and apply engineering tools and techniques to range projects
• Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with Launch and Test Range Systems ( LTRS )
• Ability to research independently to learn new expertise, troubleshoot, and solve problems
• Ability to adapt to shifting client needs
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team
• Possession of excellent organizational skills
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor's degree

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
