As a Security Officer - Aviation Patrol in Huntsville, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with staff and visitors, respond to concerns, and document activity using site tools. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, access control issues, and suspicious activity.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, production and testing areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Control access by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in and escort procedures, and documenting deliveries and contractor activity per site requirements.
- Complete detailed reports and logs, communicate with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts, and support investigations by preserving observations and reporting concerns promptly.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have Security Experience ‐ 1+ Years.
- Be Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet - preferred.
- Have Customer Service Experience - preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
