Amentum is seeking a Security Guard to work in Andros Island, Bahamas on the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) project. The Security Guard will perform functions at AUTEC in support of a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors and government assets on the AUTEC project. This position requires the individual to be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Provides and controls vehicle and pedestrian access to the facilities and ensures compliance with visitor regulations.
- Inspects and controls access of materials into facilities.
- Makes security checks of assigned facilities and areas.
- Completes compliance and safety inspections in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Maintains logs.
- Detects security incidents and reports them to Navy Security Forces for investigation and action.
- Must follow all security rules and regulations.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
- Ability to work 12 hr. shifts, day or night for no less than 5 days.
Minimum Requirements:
- One (1) year related experience working in a Security environment.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Adept at working with computer systems and applications with specific knowledge of the Microsoft office application suite.
- Must be able to perform normal or emergency duties requiring physical exertion such as standing/walking/driving/jumping for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to climb stairs and/or ladders.
- Must be able to lift/carry 50 pounds of material or equipment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to reside in remote work location with limited medical facilities.
- Valid Driver's License and U.S. passport will be required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Clearance. Note: U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- One (1) or more years of Security Guard experience and certification as a Security Guard.
- Experience working in classified environments preferred.
