Job Description

AV Company, is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support and lead software development teams. This role requires coordination with Product Owners to facilitate Agile practices and ensure effective team execution in a fast-paced development environment.

The position is hybrid and located in Huntsville, Alabama.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Facilitate daily Scrum meetings and guide Agile teams in following the Scrum framework.
• Support Product Owners in backlog management and sprint planning.
• Identify and remove team blockers to ensure continuous progress.
• Lead retrospectives, document actionable outcomes, and reinforce Agile best practices.
• Promote collaboration and communication within and across teams.
• Track team metrics and report progress to stakeholders.
• Maintain alignment with project timelines and deliverables.
• Use collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, GitLab) to support Agile workflows.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
• Experience managing Scrum teams in an Agile environment.
• Strong leadership, team facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and GitLab.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Understanding of software development workflows and lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
• Experience working with cross-functional technical teams.
• Familiarity with cloud-native technologies and modern DevSecOps environments.
• Knowledge of defense systems such as C2BMC, IBCS, and/or TOC-L.
• Experience with or understanding of the Missile Defense System and/or Integrated Air and Missile Defense domains.

The salary range for this role is:
$107,370 - $152,250
