Position Summary
The Contracts Finance Specialist will be responsible for supporting the full lifecycle of government contracts, ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS, DCAA, and internal company policies. This role works closely with Program Managers, Finance, Security, and Operations to ensure contractual, financial, and compliance requirements are met across multiple programs. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience with DoD contracts, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to contract administration and compliance.
Responsibilities
Review timesheets for accuracy and maintain compliance with DCAA requirements.
Process material requests in compliance with contract requirements and complete all internal documentation supporting procurement activities.
Review employee travel requests to ensure compliance with contract requirements and Joint Travel Regulations (JTR); route for approval and maintain required documentation.
Verify, track, and route Common Access Card (CAC) and System Authorization Access Request (SAAR) documentation in accordance with security and compliance requirements.
Partner with Program Managers to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, including CDRs, Government Property Reports, and other deliverables.
Support proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer interactions in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
Prepare cost and pricing analysis reports in accordance with FAR/DFARS, DCAA guidance, and other applicable policies.
Develop solutions to routine and complex contractual issues to ensure company compliance on assigned programs.
Review contract terms and conditions and assess risk related to pricing, acceptance criteria, delivery requirements, warranties, intellectual property, termination, indemnification, and other provisions; recommend risk mitigation strategies.
Prepare and manage written communications with internal and external stakeholders for contractual matters.
Ensure timely delivery of all contractual deliverables, including invoices, proposals, and data calls.
Manage contract changes, maintain historical contract files, and ensure all contract requirements are fulfilled.
Review and assist with negotiations of NDAs, Teaming Agreements, and other corporate legal documents.
Assist with financial reporting related to contracts.
Track and manage contract/task order financials, budgets, and Estimates to Complete (ETCs).

Education and Experience
Bachelors degree in business, Finance, or related field
Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with DoD contracts
Experience supporting contracts from pre-RFP through closeout, including CDRLs, financials, contract modifications, and pricing analysis
Direct experience administering and pricing complex contracts
Experience with all major federal contract types: Fixed Price, Cost Plus Fixed Fee, T&M, IDIQ Task/Delivery Orders
Experience with contract negotiation, administration, teaming agreements, consulting agreements, and NDAs
Extensive working knowledge of FAR/DFARS
Experience using Deltek Costpoint (Time & Expense, Projects, Reporting, Invoicing) required
Experience with cost proposal preparation and DCAA audits
Strong experience tracking contract financials, budgets, and ETCs
Location: Remote to Washington DC Area
Security Requirements: The candidate must be a US Citizen and eligible to obtain a secret clearance.
Starting salary range between $90,000 to $110,000 annually.
