POSITION OVERVIEW
STi is seeking an Operations Research Analyst (Journeyman) to support Commander, Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC) analytical initiatives focused on Naval Aviation readiness, sustainment, and cost drivers. This role applies quantitative methods, modeling, and decision analytics to help Government stakeholders identify readiness degraders, assess Courses of Action (COAs), and deliver actionable insights for fleet readiness improvement.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You’ll support readiness-related data collection, integration, and analysis (RRDCI&A) across Naval Aviation sustainment data. Responsibilities include:
• Apply operations research, statistical analysis, forecasting, and optimization methods to readiness and sustainment questions.
• Collect, validate, integrate, and analyze data from multiple readiness/sustainment sources (maintenance, supply, cost, operations, etc.).
• Develop analytical products that identify readiness drivers/degraders and quantify impacts to cost, availability, and mission readiness.
• Support readiness dashboards and visualization products with drill-down capability for Government decision-makers.
• Coordinate analysis with Government and external stakeholders as required (e.g., enterprise readiness partners).
• Prepare briefings, reports, and decision-support products in a Government environment (UNCLASSIFIED/CUI handling as applicable).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
U.S. Citizenship required. Active Secret clearance required.
• BA/BS in a relevant field and 3–15 years of related experience (Journeyman level)
• Demonstrated experience with quantitative analysis, modeling, and/or decision analytics
• Strong communication skills (briefing + writing) with ability to translate analysis into actionable recommendations
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word) and ability to work in Government IT environments

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Naval Aviation readiness/sustainment analytics experience
• Experience with forecasting/simulation, readiness degrader identification, or root cause analysis (RCA)
• Experience supporting performance dashboards/visual analytics and metric development

WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Hybrid support: Government site locations include Bldg 446/447/448, NAS Patuxent River, MD
• Normal hours typically M–F 0800–1630 (some offices allow 0600/0630–1800)
• Overtime is not authorized under this contract
• Telework/remote only with COR written approval (position/tasking dependent)
