Primary Level Salary Range: $139,700.00 - $209,500.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Staff level Configuration Analyst. Some of the job duties include:
- Coordinate and administer Configuration Management activities related to planning, identification, change management, status accounting, and verification and audit
- Plan and coordinate the release and control of project documentation, like engineering drawings, internal program documents, and schedules, to ensure that customer contract requirements are met
- Facilitate the analysis of proposed changes to product baselines to determine the effect on overall product and system
- Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities. Support program configuration and data management requirements.
Basic Qualifications include:
- Experience in developing and maintaining Multi-level/Multi-system Hardware baseline repositories i.e. configuration items, Interface Control Document (ICDs), Engineering Memos, Requirements Documents, Bill of Materials, etc.
- Experience with engineering drawing development
- Experience managing multiple concurrent Major End Items (MEIs) configurations during production and deployed in the field
- Experience with Agile development
- Experience as a Product Data Management (PDM) Administrator and/or implementing PDM workflows
- Experience with systems engineering life cycle management
- Experience in Risk Mitigation
- Experience in analytical and problem solving
- Experience with large-scale command and control systems...Project management.
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Knowledge of strategic and operational-level defense systems planning, employment, and Concepts of Operations (CONOPS)
- Knowledge of Atlassian (Jira/Confluence) Teamcenter PLM, Microsoft Suite, Model Base Systems Engineering (MBSE)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Secret clearance.
- Preferred Certified Configuration Management Practitioner (CMP) or equivalent certification
- Knowledge of EIA-649C
- Solid written and verbal skills to effectively interact with customers, partner organizations, and other cross-functional organizations.
