Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (AS) sector is currently hiring a Director Supply Chain Programs 1 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This leadership position is based onsite in Melbourne, FL or Palmdale, CA.

The position will lead the Global Supply Chain (GSC) organization supporting the B-21 programs division within Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems. Responsible and accountable for the strategy, planning, and execution of all material and services content for program execution and integration, which includes cost accounts, proposals, risk/issues/ops and change management. This role will also be responsible for cost account management and financial integration across the enterprise. Serves as the senior GSC leader for material and labor management within the enterprise and ensuring process consistency across all business units.

Execution:
  • Key leadership interface for program and functional senior leadership
  • Responsible and accountable for the strategy, planning, and execution of all material content for operating units
  • Provides leadership for the GSC organization in a matrixed environment, ensuring strategies and plans are aligned with business objectives
  • Leads major proposal and pursuit activities
  • Will participate in executive level meetings, collaborating across functions for supply chain solutions

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, program management, operations, business management or related field OR Master's degree and 8+ years of experience in supply chain management, program management, operations, business management or related field
  • Experience leading in a matrixed environment
  • Cost Account Management (CAM) experience
  • Aerospace & Defense (A&D) experience
  • Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance (DoD must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree with at least 8 years of experience in supply chain management, program management, operations, business management or related field
  • Experience briefing executive-level audiences
  • Solid understanding of supply chain processes and key performance indicators
  • Extensive proposal management experience


Primary Level Salary Range: $176,100.00 - $305,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
