Markon is seeking Computer Network Operations (CNO) Developers at multiple experience levels to support a Fort Meade customer. CNO Developers will design, develop, test, and maintain advanced hardware- and software-based CNO capabilities in support of mission-critical operations. Candidates will collaborate with government stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver secure, reliable, and innovative cyber solutions across the full development lifecycle.

Salary Range

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain software and hardware-based CNO capabilities.
- Support full lifecycle software development, including requirements analysis, implementation, testing, and sustainment.
- Ensure solutions comply with network, security, and operational requirements.
- Apply knowledge of operating system internals, networking, and low-level programming to develop mission-relevant capabilities.
- Collaborate with government customers, engineers, and mission partners.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation and development artifacts.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and quality assurance activities.
- Senior-level candidates may provide technical leadership, mentor junior staff, and advise leadership on CNO development efforts.
- Support modern development practices, including CI/CD and DevSecOps, as applicable.

- Active TS/SCI W/ Polygraph through this Customer
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline,
OR equivalent relevant experience. - Experience developing software using Python, C, and/or C++.
- Working knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP and socket-level programming.
- Familiarity with low-level system internals in one or more environments (e.g., Linux/Unix, Windows, mobile platforms, network devices).
- Ability to work effectively in a secure, mission-focused environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing CNO capabilities or cyber tools.
- Experience with software analysis, vulnerability research, or reverse engineering.
- Understanding of assembly language concepts.
- Experience developing unit and integration tests.
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Crucible).
- Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., PCEP, C++ certifications, security-related certifications).
Preferred Qualifications
