Position Summary
MAG Aerospace is seeking an experienced General Engineer with over a decade of expertise in bridging the gap between complex operational needs and technical solutions. The ideal candidate will leverage a strong background in the full systems development lifecycle (SDLC) to guide projects from conception through implementation. This role requires a professional adept at translating high-level requirements into detailed technical specifications for development teams, ensuring the final product is intuitive, efficient, and aligned with stakeholder objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Specific Duties
Requirements Engineering
Analyze, define, and document system requirements and user needs for engineering teams through stakeholder engagement and technical workshops.
Systems Integration
Serve as the liaison between technical development teams, non-technical staff, and executive-level stakeholders to ensure system enhancements meet technical specifications and user expectations.
Process Improvement
Consult with clients to analyze existing systems and processes, identifying opportunities for technical improvement, cost reduction, and workflow automation.
Project Execution
Support the engineering lifecycle by contributing to roadmap development, increment planning, and the tracking of key development milestones to ensure successful end-to-end implementation.
Budget & Resource Management
Assist in the management of multi-million dollar budgets and provide resource allocation estimates for personnel aligned with various technical tasks.

Requirements
Requirements: MUST HAVE
- 13+ years of experience in a technical or consulting environment.
- At least six (6) years of experience consulting with senior-level stakeholders to drive technical results.
- Demonstrated experience as a key member of a technical development and implementation process, responsible for critical deliverables.
- Methodologies: In-depth understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile development frameworks.
- Project Management & Collaboration: High proficiency with Confluence, JIRA, GitLab, and MURAL.
- Web Technologies: Working knowledge of front-end web technologies, including HTML 5.
Preferred:
- Agile or Project Management-related certifications (e.g., CSM, ICP, PMP).
- Experience providing consulting services to multiple U.S. government agencies.
Clearance:
- Must possess a Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
