TIAG is now hiring a Systems Engineer to support our team onsite at the Office of Naval Research in Arlington, VA. This is a position that is 100% onsite (5 days/week at the ONR in Arlington). This position requires a Secret clearance to be able to start work. US or Naturalized Citizenship are a requirement for eligibility.

Position Responsibilities include:
  • Administer and maintain the Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) environment, including software distribution, patch management, operating system deployment (OSD), and compliance settings.
  • Develop and manage task sequences for Windows 10/11 image deployment, ensuring alignment with DoD security baselines and STIG compliance.
  • Design and implement policies and profiles for modern management via Intune and Autopilot, supporting a hybrid management environment.
    Automate software deployment and update management using MECM, PowerShell, and third-party patching tools.
    Monitor and remediate endpoint health, working proactively to maintain compliance with Department of the Navy cybersecurity standards (RMF/NIST 800-53).
  • Maintain documentation and support audit readiness for systems managed through MECM/SCCM.
  • Support remote site connectivity and configuration across classified and unclassified networks, coordinating with cybersecurity and network teams.
  • Provide Tier 3 support for MECM-related issues and mentor junior administrators.


Qualifications

  • This is a fully onsite opportunity in Arlington, VA and requires a Security Clearance to start work
  • US or Naturalized Citizenship is required for consideration (Secret clearance must be process to start work)
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience administering MECM/SCCM in a mid-to-large enterprise.
  • Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE and computing environment certification)
    Bachelor's degree or 4 year's equivalent experience
  • Experience working in DoD or federal government IT environments, including DISA STIGs and RMF processes.
  • Proficiency with PowerShell scripting for task automation and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of software deployment, patching, compliance settings, and OSD.
