- You will determine long and short-range needs for resources such as manpower, materials, equipment and staff support.
- You will conduct meetings or briefings to ensure flow of information regarding production schedule, cost effectiveness, or material issues.
- You will direct production efforts committed to the sequencing of ship overhaul or repair projects.
- You will manage material or labor costs during the production phase to ensure proper execution of shipboard projects.
- You will develop short and long-range plans to provide manning, material, and equipment to support ship overhaul or repair projects.
- You will identify manning priorities and distribute personnel assignments accordingly.
