- You will formulate the support and maintenance concepts and maintainability requirements for assigned weapon system.
- You will determine based on technical information/funding availability the best approach for expending resources to insure an adequate logistics support posture.
- You will manage product support integration with product support disciplines executing throughout the life cycle of naval aviation systems and equipment.
- You will submit program budgets in response to Program Planning Budget System calls, and defend support cost information presented to the program manager and to higher levels within DoD.
- You will exercise resource responsibility and authority over support budgets through the NAVAIR Budget process.
- You will direct the efforts of the logistics specialists in accomplishing Logistics Support Analyses and producing planning documentation (e.g. Integrated Logistics Support Plans, Maintenance Plans, Test and Evaluation Master Plans, etc.).
