Job Description
As a Security Officer - SCIF Security Clearance in Mesa, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at an aero and defense location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, report and document unusual activity, and deliver strong customer service and clear communication to staff and visitors. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response procedures at an aerospace and defense location.
- Control access to facilities and restricted areas by verifying identification, authorizations, and/or visitor documentation, and directing individuals to proper check-in processes.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating notifications, documenting observations, and coordinating with site contacts and/or first responders as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity, identify security-related concerns, and report conditions needing attention.
- Complete detailed reports and logs, monitor alarms and cameras when assigned, and support security-related audits, inspections, and/or special events per site requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Have customer service experience preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
