AWS AI Engineer

We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud and AI Engineer to support an energy-sector client in advancing AI evaluation initiatives. This role will provide hands-on expertise across AWS, Databricks, and Amazon Bedrock AI services to assist the client in evaluating and identifying optimal AI approaches to meet defined analytical and business needs. Key Responsibilities Provide hands-on AWS support for AI and data platform initiatives, including Databricks and Amazon Bedrock. Support AI evaluations, proofs of concept, and technical assessments to determine best-fit AI solutions. Build and support data pipelines, analytics, and experimentation using Databricks on AWS. Evaluate and leverage Amazon Bedrock foundation models for AI and generative AI use cases. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate AI and data requirements into technical solutions. Ensure solutions comply with security, performance, and compliance standards. Document technical findings, recommendations, and best practices. 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS, including data and AI/ML services. 5+ years of experience with Databricks for data engineering and analytics. Experience with Amazon Bedrock AI services, including model evaluation and experimentation. Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting federal clients Background in AI/ML, data science, or advanced analytics. Familiarity with cloud security and compliance in regulated environments.
