JOB SUMMARY:
Genesis Consulting is seeking an experienced, forward-thinking SAP S/4HANA Logistics Consultant with a passion for growth and business transformation. We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with strong Logistics Design experience to join our team and work closely with a Commercial Healthcare Logistics Client.
As the S4HANA Logistics Consultant, you will lead S4HANA logistics design across MM/IM/LE (and EWM/TM where applicable) for high volume healthcare distribution centers, cross-dock hubs, and cold-chain operations integrated with a global parcel and freight network.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Design inbound, outbound, and internal logistics flows for DCs handling pharma, med-device, and lab products: receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, packing, consolidation, loading, and returns.
· Configure batch management, shelf-life, temperature zones, and serial/UDI handling to support regulated healthcare inventory in multi-client, multi-warehouse environments.
· Integrate warehouse and inventory processes with transportation (routing, carrier selection, shipment creation, manifesting) and parcel networks.
· Support models for multi-client logistics (3PL) where inventory and services are managed per customer with distinct SLAs and compliance requirements.
· Lead logistics data conversion for materials, batches, stock, storage locations, and handling units during S/4HANA conversion.
· Define operational KPIs and enable S/4HANA reporting for OTIF, DC productivity, inventory accuracy, and cold-chain compliance.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
· 8+ years in SAP MM/IM/LE with 3+ S/4HANA implementations, including advanced warehouse processes.
· Expertise in inventory management: batch/serial management, shelf-life expiration, physical inventory, and stock transfers.
· Proven configuration experience with LE processes: inbound/outbound deliveries, picking/packing strategies, yard management.
· Hands-on experience designing multi-client 3PL warehouse operations with customer-specific inventory segregation.
· Experience integrating logistics processes with transportation management and parcel carrier systems.
· Logistics/WMS experience in large-scale DC networks handling temperature-sensitive or regulated products.
Preferred Skills:
· EWM or TM configuration experience for advanced warehouse and transportation requirements.
· Knowledge of GDP/GMP requirements for pharma/med-device storage and distribution.
· Experience with warehouse automation interfaces (RF, conveyors, ASRS) and MFS.
· Familiarity with quality management integration for batch release and quarantine processes.
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Master’s Degree preferred.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
· SAP and/or S/4HANA certifications preferred.
OTHER:
