Job Summary:
The Integration and Test Engineer plays a critical role in supporting 2 NWS mission-critical operations. This role involves integrating hardware and software components, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This position ensures mission success by leveraging technical expertise, coordinating between cross-functional teams, and ensuring that all operational and mission objectives are met in a timely and efficient manner.

Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position, typically working 40 hours per week. Overtime may be required depending on operational needs. The base contract is through March, 2026, with option year (not yet executed) through March, 2027.

Key Responsibilities:
System Integration and Testing:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute mission objectives in alignment with 2 NWS mission operation needs.
- Conduct integration and regression testing to ensure seamless operation of hardware and software components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and sustainment, to ensure mission readiness and efficiency.
- Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and support root cause analysis.
- Work closely with design, software, and hardware teams to identify and resolve integration challenges.
- Provide technical support for customer demonstrations, field testing, and operational deployment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aerospace or a related technical field required, or combination of experience and education.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in system integration and testing

- Secret (Required)
- Top Secret (Desired)
- Required Skills:
- Strong technical background with experience in mission-critical environments.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and mission management software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination across teams.
- Ability to make decisions under pressure and during high-stress mission events.
- Preferred Skills:
- CompTIA Security+ (IAT Level II) certification.
- Experience working in a DoD, aerospace, or defense industry environment.
- Experience with OCX software.
- Ability to work in dynamic, operational environments that may include remote operations.
- Capability to remain focused and perform tasks during long periods of mission activity.
- May involve extended hours during critical mission phases or in response to emergencies.
