Senior Network Engineer (Secret Clearance Required)

Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support advanced enterprise networking initiatives for a customer in the defense industry. The Senior Network Engineer role is ideal for an experienced engineer with strong expertise in Route/Switch, DoD networking environments, and advanced Cisco certifications. The Senior Network Engineer is a long term contract opportunity and requires you to sit on site 4-5 days per week in Oahu, Hawaii.

Responsibilities of the Senior Network Engineer:

• Provide advanced network engineering and consulting services for enterprise and DoD environments.
• Support technologies including routing, switching, SDA, SDWAN, and security solutions.
• Assist with design, implementation, and optimization of complex network architectures.
• Collaborate with technical teams to drive successful project outcomes and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Travel internationally as needed to support customer engagements.

Requirements of the Senior Network Engineer:

• Must have an ACTIVE Secret Clearance
• Cisco Enterprise Networking certifications, preferably CCNP and/or CCIE.
• 10+ years of IT consulting experience, ideally within DoD or highly regulated environments.
• Advanced expertise in Route/Switch technologies with additional experience in SDA, SDWAN, and security.

Compensation for the Senior Network Engineer:

• $75.00-$90.00 per hour
