The Network Performance Management Consultant role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep expertise in network analytics, Python scripting, Splunk, API integrations, and data-driven performance optimization. Responsibilities of the Network Performance Management Consultant:
• Monitor, assess, and optimize network performance across complex and secure enterprise environments.
• Develop Python-based tools and scripts to automate analysis, reporting, and performance insights.
• Leverage Splunk for log analysis, dashboard creation, and real-time network visibility.
• Integrate APIs and data sources to enhance network monitoring and analytics workflows.
• Conduct root-cause analysis, trend forecasting, and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with security, engineering, and operations teams to drive continuous improvement of network performance.
• Operate within strict security protocols while supporting mission-critical infrastructure.
Qualifications of the Network Performance Management Consultant:
• 8-10 years of experience in network performance management, analytics, or related technical roles.
• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance required.
• Proficiency with Python, scripting languages, and automation workflows.
• Strong hands-on experience with Splunk dashboarding, queries, and enterprise ingestion pipelines.
• Background in API integration and data extraction for performance analytics.
• Understanding of enterprise networking, performance metrics, and monitoring tools.
• Ability to analyze complex data sets and present actionable insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Compensation for the Network Performance Management Consultant includes:
• Salary range:
