You will respond to alarms and access control activity, document observations, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following post orders, site-specific policies, and access control procedures at a technology office location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and security-related concerns.
• Monitor alarms, surveillance systems, and other security-related equipment, and document observations, patrol activity, and incidents in detailed reports.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including calling for emergency services when appropriate and coordinating with site contacts.
• Support badge issuance and/or visitor processing, verify authorization for entry, and assist with enforcing site rules related to restricted areas, deliveries, and after-hours activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Have an active DoD Top Secret clearance.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
