This role focuses on securing containers, orchestration platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS infrastructure that support mission-critical government systems.
You will collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure security is embedded throughout the DevOps lifecycle while maintaining compliance with federal standards.

This role focuses on securing containers, orchestration platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS infrastructure that support mission-critical government systems.
You will collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure security is embedded throughout the DevOps lifecycle while maintaining compliance with federal standards.
What You'll Do
As a Subject Matter Expert - Mid, you will:
- Design, implement, and manage security practices across containerized application environments
- Support the security of Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration platforms
- Secure CI/CD pipelines to enable safe and reliable software delivery
- Assist in implementing container security controls and monitoring solutions
- Support AWS cloud security configurations and best practices
- Use Bash scripting to automate security and operational tasks
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to enforce secure DevOps standards
- Support compliance efforts within a regulated federal environment
- Full-time (40 hours/week)
- On-site support required in Washington, DC
- U.S. Citizenship required (U.S. citizens or dual citizens only)
- Public Trust clearance required or higher
- 2 years of experience with Docker container technologies
- 2 years of experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration platforms
- 2 years of experience with container security concepts and tools
- 2 years of experience with Bash scripting
- 2 years of experience supporting AWS security services or cloud security practices
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
- Experience supporting government or regulated environments is a plus
- Contribute to securing federal DevOps and cloud environments
- Gain hands-on experience with container and cloud security technologies
- Work with experienced technical teams supporting national priorities
