Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Airfield Patrol Driver in Palmdale, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at an aerospace and defense location as an Armed Patrol Officer in a driving post. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, control access where needed, and document observations with clear communication. You will support a culture that is agile, reliable, and innovative, bringing caring customer service, teamwork, and integrity to every interaction.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and/or visitors while following site-specific security-related procedures and access requirements at an aerospace and defense location.
• Carry and maintain assigned firearm and related gear in accordance with licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and post orders; use sound judgment and clear communication while performing armed duties.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to identify security-related concerns; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Complete detailed reports and logs for patrols, incidents, visitor activity, and/or access control actions, using required systems and maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Military/Security Experience OR a College Degree.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Be 21+ Years of Age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Have Security Experience ‐ 5+ Years.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
