Overview
VTG is seeking an Quality and Safety Manager in Quantico, VA and Patuxent River, MD to oversee and monitor all quality assurance operations activities of contractor personnel working at HMX and PMA 274.

Do you have what it takes?
Education: Bachelor's degree in a Management or Business discipline. An AS or AA degree plus four (4) years of experience may be substituted for a BA/BS or six (6) years of experience may be substituted for a BA/BS.
Experience: At least 10 years' working in quality assurance and have extensive quality assurance or control experience as well as three years of experience in a maintenance or training position, three (3) of which must be directly related to Naval systems.
Security Clearance: Top Secret/Yankee White
Pay Range: VTG's estimated starting pay range is $150,000-$165,000 annually which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.

What will you do?
- Oversees and monitors all quality assurance operations activities of contractor personnel working at HMX and PMA 274.
- Accountable for ensuring effective execution of the Quality and safety programs and for supervising, leading and/or directing Quality Assurance personnel. Responsible for the monitoring, administration, and auditing of company programs for identifying, and correcting program discrepancies, maintenance hazard or risks.
- For developing reports and Ground Operating Procedures (GOPs) and analyzing/investigating accidents or incidents that may occur during maintenance. evolutions.
- Identifies and recommends the best maintenance practices to reduce operating costs while improving productivity.
- Identifies, evaluates, and implements corrective action plans suggestions that are approved by the customer.
- Develops accident-prevention and loss-control systems and programs for incorporation into maintenance policies of organization.
- Monitors and coordinates safety activities through supervisory and quality assurance personnel, to ensure implementation of safety activities throughout the maintenance department. Identifies and appraises conditions that could produce accidents or injuries and recommends/implements corrective actions or procedures to prevent them from happening.
