Job Summary:
The Project Accountant is accountable for maintaining and administering the company's ERP Cost Accounting data and ensuring that project billings are issued to customer.

Job Summary:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the preparation and processing of job set-up documentation in compliance with contract.
- Responsible for management and maintenance of the project job costing data.
- Participating in the preparation of customer invoicing complete with appropriate back-up and approvals.
- Participating in the preparation of intercompany invoicing complete with appropriate back-up and approvals.
- Responsible for helping Payroll address payroll errors through Costpoint.
- Responsible for assigning job codes, PLCs, and H&W to labor in Costpoint.
- Responsible for job close tasks including thorough review of historical cost data to ensure proper cost coding, compliance with contract and inclusion of all job costs.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- Must work Pacific Standard Time Zone hours.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance, or a related field is desirable, but 2-4 years equivalent experience will be considered.
- Computer skills required: Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Word and Excel
- Excellent planning, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
