MTSI is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Personnel Security Generalist to join our security team. This role supports critical personnel security functions, including clearance processing, compliance, and investigation management, while also contributing to document control, security education awareness training, physical security, visitor and access control, and COMSEC operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to maintaining compliance with security policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Clearance Processing: Receive, review, and submit requests for investigations and security clearances.
- Investigation Management: Monitor investigation statuses, conduct preliminary checks (e.g., credit, background), and coordinate fingerprinting.
- Security Briefings: Conduct initial, refresher, and INFOSEC (Information Security) briefings.
- Record Keeping: Maintain personnel security files, track metrics, and ensure data accuracy in systems like SIMS.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to security policies, handle classified materials, and manage access for the collateral program.
- Coordination: Liaise with applicants, employees, and investigative agencies to facilitate security processes.
- Visitor and Access Control: Manage visitor access requests, maintain visitor logs, and ensure compliance with access control policies.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Document Control Program: Support the management of classified and sensitive documents, ensuring proper handling, storage, and destruction in accordance with regulations.
- Security Education Awareness Training (SETA): Assist in developing and delivering security awareness training programs to educate employees on best practices and compliance requirements.
- Physical Security: Support physical security operations, including badge issuance, facility access control, and monitoring security systems.
- COMSEC: Assist in the management of Communications Security (COMSEC) equipment and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of PERSEC experience.
- Familiarity with personnel security processes and systems, such as DISS, NBIS, or e-App.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing requirements.
- Knowledge of NISPOM and other relevant security regulations.
Security Clearance:
- Active DoD Secret clearance (or higher) preferred, with the ability to obtain and maintain additional clearances as needed.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
