In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with our dynamic Geospatial & Digital Solutions (GDS) Market Sector team to support diverse IR&D and customer-focused projects within a multidisciplinary organization, aiming to achieve specific goals and objectives.
Reporting directly to the Director of Technical Services - HUB, the Business Analyst shall leverage their expertise to support program and project execution by eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and managing business, functional, and non-functional requirements. The Business Analyst will serve as a key liaison between stakeholders, technical teams, and program leadership to ensure solutions align with mission objectives, user needs, and contractual requirements.

Expected Salary: $130,000 per year

WhatYou’ll Do:
- Elicit, analyze, validate, and document business and system requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and document reviews
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable artifacts such as Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), user stories with acceptance criteria, and process and data flows
- Support Agile and/or Hybrid delivery models by owning and refining the product backlog, facilitating sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, and collaborating with Product Owners and development teams
- Support requirements traceability by maintaining a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) linking requirements to design, development, testing, and deployment
- Assist with impact analysis for scope, schedule, and cost changes
- Support testing activities by reviewing test cases and test plans, supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and validating that delivered functionality meets approved requirements
- Develop and maintain program documentation in accordance with program governance, quality standards, and contractual requirements
- Provide regular status updates, risk identification, and issue escalation to program leadership
- In our growth-stage environment, support adjacent functions including stakeholder relationship management, process optimization, and cross-project coordination as needed to advance team and organizational objectives
WhatYou’ll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting software development projects
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum and/or Hybrid environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with cross-functional technical and non-technical teams
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
- Must be proficient in English, both written and verbal, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Successful results of preemployment screenings, including federal background check, MVR, and drug screen.
- Comply with company drug and alcohol policy.
- Be authorized to work in the US or will be authorized by the successful candidate’s start date.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience supporting DoD, federal, or regulated environments
- Familiarity with requirements management and Agile tools (e.g., Jira, ClickUp, Confluence, Azure DevOps)
- Experience with system integrations, data analysis, or workflow automation
