Responsibilities
Are you looking for an opportunity to share your experience implementing security systems to safeguard our nation? Everyone is trying to "harness the cloud," but not everyone knows how. As a cloud computing infrastructure architect, you know how to utilize cloud capabilities. On our team of experienced professionals, you'll use cutting-edge enterprise cloud platforms to support your clients as they modernize their IT infrastructure and meet their most challenging missions. We're looking for someone like you to help support national security.
You'll closely collaborate with fellow cloud architects and engineers specializing in AWS to design, develop, test, and deploy cloud solution components. You'll have the chance to work within a DevOps framework to create and manage container apps and use products like Kubernetes to further the mission. With access to our internal AWS Labs, you'll have the space and time to explore different ways of solving our client's problems and partner with stakeholders and your team to deliver the right technical solutions. Whether modernizing legacy computing platforms and applications or creating new ones from scratch, you'll have the latest tech and brightest teammates at your fingertips.

Compensation at EverWatch is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67.31 to $96.16 per hour. The estimate displayed represents the typical compensation range for this position and is just one component of EverWatch's total compensation package for employees.

Qualifications
You Have:
- 4+ years of experience in the implementation of cloud technologies, including AWS
- 4+ years of experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudFormation, or CloudWatch
- Experience with CI/CD tools, including Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, including Terraform, AWS CloudFormation or CDK
- Knowledge of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS models
- Knowledge of networking concepts and AWS networking services, including VPC, subnets, security groups, and routing
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field
Nice If You Have:
- Experience managing and optimizing databases on AWS, including RDS and DynamoDB
- Experience programming in Python or similar language for automation and scripting tasks
- Experience with DevOps or Software Engineering practices and methodologies
- Ability to design and implement RESTful APIs and work with third-party APIs
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Certification
- IAT Level II+ Certification such as Security+ or CISSP Certifications
