We are seeking a highly experienced Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support advanced intelligence analysis, signal characterization, and EW-related mission data development at Naval Air Station (NAS) Point Mugu. The ELINT SME will play a central role in analyzing complex electromagnetic threat systems, shaping intelligence-driven mission data products, and supporting Navy airborne electronic warfare capabilities.
Responsibilities
Provide expert-level analysis of radar, missile, and emitter characteristics to support ELINT-driven mission data development.
Characterize, validate, and interpret foreign radar signals and associated parametric data from multiple intelligence sources.
Translate technical intelligence into actionable system updates for Electronic Warfare (EW) and mission data reprogramming teams.
Review and assess technical intelligence reporting for accuracy, completeness, and operational relevance.
Support coordination across intelligence agencies, EW reprogramming centers, and Navy program offices.
Contribute to test event planning, data review, and post‑test signal analysis for EW systems and threat models.
Develop mission impact assessments, briefings, and technical documentation for leadership and stakeholders.
Maintain awareness of emerging threat systems, radar technologies, and adversary capabilities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Intelligence Studies, or related technical field (or equivalent military experience).
8+ years of experience in ELINT analysis, electronic order of battle (EOB) development, or radar signal exploitation.
Strong understanding of ELINT collection systems, processing workflows, and analytical methodologies.
Experience with signal analysis tools, parametric extraction software, and modern ELINT processing architectures.
Ability to synthesize technical intelligence into mission‑relevant recommendations.
Active Secret clearance required; TS/SCI highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience supporting NAVAIR, NAWCWD, NSA, or DoD intelligence organizations.
Familiarity with naval airborne EW systems and the reprogramming enterprise.
Knowledge of EW mission data processes, threat libraries, and analytical toolsets.
Experience with high‑fidelity modeling, simulation, or emitter characterization tools.
Background in mentoring or leading analysts or supporting multi‑disciplinary teams.
