Description:
You will be the Circuit Card Design Engineer for the Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) Small Form Factor Missile team. Our team develops cutting edge processor boards, interface cards and supporting hardware for next generation missiles that must meet extreme size, weight, power and performance requirements.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Circuit Card Design Engineer you will own the architecture, requirements development and trade study effort for missile electronic subsystems. You will work hand in hand with cross functional teams to translate system needs into robust circuit card designs that enable reliable, high performance missile operation. Your responsibilities will include:
• Supporting the development of system architectures, including block diagrams, interface control documents and other architectural artifacts for missile subsystems.
• Developing and refining performance, interface and environmental requirements for circuit card designs.
• Conducting trade studies to evaluate alternative designs, optimize system performance and produce clear implementation recommendations.
• Collaborating with systems, software and test engineers to ensure requirements are met and that hardware integrates smoothly into the overall missile system.
• Creating and maintaining digital twin models, simulation artifacts and other system modeling deliverables.
• Participating in design reviews, technical meetings and configuration control processes to verify that designs satisfy all requirements.
• Producing and updating technical documentation, including system architecture descriptions, requirements packages and trade study reports.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of eight years of professional experience
• Experience with circuit card design, integration, and test for power electronics
• Experience with Siemens Xpedition Enterprise or equivalent for schematic capture
• Experience with Cadence Pspice or equivalent for circuit simulation and analysis
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Ability to work on site 3 days a week
• Familiarity with military standards and specifications, including MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-704.
Desired Skills:
• Familiarity with military standards and specifications, including MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-704
• Matlab experience
• LM Design Assurance Process experience
• Experience with MOSA (Modular Open Systems Architecture) and WOSA (Weapon Open Systems Architecture).
• Experience with CAMEO requirements management tools.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
