Program Acquisition Specialist

*Active TS/SCI required for consideration*

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Program Acquisition Specialist to support to the US Space Force (USSF) in developing, deploying, and sustaining the Geosynchronous Space Situational Awareness Program (GSSAP) within the Space Systems Command Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power Directorate's system program office located in El Segundo, CA . This is an on-site position. This opportunity requires you having an in-depth experience with DoD program acquisition processes and documentation. You will interact and coordinate daily with numerous stakeholders (Program Managers, Contracting Officers, System Engineers, and external organizations).

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide expert advice to the Program Manager and Senior Space Force Leadership regarding acquisition strategies, contracting, budgeting, and execution
• Develop/coordinate acquisition planning briefings and documents (ESIS, ASP, ASD, J&A, etc.)
• Develop/coordinate solicitation planning and execution documents (RFP (SOW, CDRLs, Incentive Plans, etc.), Source Selection Strategy, etc.)
• Develop/coordinate overarching program planning and execution documents as prescribed by/tailored from DoDI 5000.02, and relevant DoD, AF, and SSC policies
• Draft technical evaluations and function as an advisor in source selections
• Provide technical and programmatic assessments of contractor designs and milestone reviews to assess progress, risks and issues, and the ability to achieve mission requirements

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelors degree and minimum of 10 years of related experience with the:
  • Department of Defense Major Capability Acquisition System process
  • Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System process
  • Planning, Programing, Budget and Execution process
• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
• Willing to be nominated for access to Sensitive Compartment Information and Special Access Programs and willing to consent to a Polygraph examination
• Professional certification (e.g., PMI PMP)
• Experience within the National Security Space domain
• Experience working in development environment and, or U.S. Government weapons system program office

Compensation Includes:

• Salary range: $165,000 - $200,000 (salary based on years of experience and qualifications)
• PTO, Paid Holidays, 401K, Health, Dental, Vision, Sick Leave as required by Law, etc
