Responsibilities of the QA Analyst include:
- Review technical requirements and support planning and design efforts for telecommunications projects
- Conduct site visits to inspect network installation, maintenance activities, and infrastructure quality
- Recommend improvements aligned with DoD, U.S. Army, and industry best practices and standards
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance standards, processes, and documentation for telecommunications deliverables
- Lead formal and informal quality reviews at key project milestones
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) to identify systemic issues, track trends, and drive corrective actions.
- Manage quality improvement initiatives, including problem management, risk mitigation, and continuous process optimization
- Prepare QA reports, compliance documentation, and performance evaluations for leadership review
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent quality across all project phases
- Demonstrate strong communication, analytical thinking, and professional engagement with all organizational levels
Qualifications for the QA Analyst include:
- 3+ years of experience in quality assurance for IT and telecommunications programs
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- BICSI Technician certification required
- Experience conducting audits, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning
- Proficiency in developing QA metrics, tracking performance, and implementing process improvements
- Experience conducting formal and informal reviews of technical project deliverables
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), risk assessments, and process auditing methodologies
- Ability to work effectively with technical teams, leadership, and external stakeholders
- Must be a U.S. citizen with an active Secret clearance
Compensation for the QA Analyst includes:
- Salary Range : $70,000-$85,000/year depending on experience
