[About the Role]
Join a leading defense and aerospace organization as Senior Manager, Project Management and Technical Program Planning. Be the strategic leader responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for mission-critical, highly dynamic programs. Collaborate with cross-functional experts in a matrixed environment where your scheduling and program management expertise ensures project success. [Responsibilities]
- Lead the creation, integration, and maintenance of compliant IMS and sub-schedules based on customer requirements
- Partner with program teams to align cost, schedule, and technical requirements within the IMS baseline
- Validate schedule accuracy, identify and resolve discrepancies, and ensure consistent adherence to RLPM standards
- Interpret and communicate Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA) results, integrating mitigation strategies into program plans
- Deliver weekly and monthly schedule status reports, critical path analyses, and earned value management (EVMS) metrics
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) across planning, technical, and functional teams
- Mentor, train, and support junior planners to build team capability and scheduling excellence
- Identify, recommend, and drive process improvements for greater program efficiency
[Required Skills and Experience]
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, STEM, or related field
- 15+ years of Planner or Program Management experience, including program planning and scheduling
- Extensive hands-on experience with IMS development in matrixed organizations
- Expertise with scheduling software such as MS Project, Primavera, Open Plan, or similar
- Proficiency in scheduling and EVMS techniques for diverse project teams
- Active Secret or higher U.S. security clearance
[Preferred Skills]
- Experience with Raytheon planning and finance tool suite, Client financial systems, and Project Server
- Advanced knowledge of hardware/software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
- Expertise in cost estimating and Basis of Estimate (BOE) generation
- Demonstrated skill in SRA analysis, schedule risk identification, and mitigation
- Capability to lead process improvements and coach multidisciplinary teams
