Are You an Applications Developer Who Thrives in Mission-Critical Web Development?
QSSHire is partnering with a secure customer to identify an Applications Developer to support mission-critical functions through modern software development.
This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on developer with advanced front-end web development skills who can also contribute across the stack to support application services, APIs, databases, and cloud-native deployments.
You’ll join a collaborative team working across multiple branches and directorates and support the continued development of an application currently in development, delivering enhancements, integration, and deployment support in a secure environment.

In This Role, You’ll:
• Provide application development services supporting mission-critical capabilities.
• Contribute to continued development of an application currently in development.
• Work in a team environment across multiple branches and directorates.
• Build and enhance modern front-end web components using Vue.js / Nuxt.js.
• Support full stack development activities including integration with backend services and databases.
• Consume and integrate with complex REST APIs.
• Develop using Python, JavaScript, and PySpark as required by mission needs.
• Support data visualization workflows using Viz.js.
• Work with AWS services, including S3 and EC2, to support development and operational workflows.
• Support deployment and sustainment activities in Linux-based environments using Docker and Kubernetes.

You’ll Succeed Here If You Have:
• Demonstrated experience with intermediate to advanced full stack development.
• Demonstrated experience consuming and integrating complex REST APIs.
• Demonstrated experience with tools, languages, and frameworks including: Python, PySpark, JavaScript, Vue.js, Nuxt.js, Viz.js
• Demonstrated experience with AWS services including:S3, EC2
• Demonstrated experience with databases including: Relational databases, Graph databases (Neo4j / Graph-Tool), NoSQL/document databases (MongoDB)
• Demonstrated experience deploying software using: Linux, Docker, Kubernetes
