- Assembling and fabricating components by accurately following detailed technical drawings, work orders, and engineering specifications
- Utilizing hand and power tools, along with precision measuring instruments, to construct and install parts ensuring compliance with quality standards
- Conducting routine inspections and quality checks to verify that fabricated products meet defined tolerances and operational requirements
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with DoD and industry safety protocols
- Documenting production activities and participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall fabrication efficiency and product quality

FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING
Requirements
- Three plus years experience in assemblers or fabricator role
- One plus years experience must be with communication systems, networks, or technologies
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions to accurately fabricate and assemble components according to specified tolerances and quality standards
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring instruments to ensure precision in fabrication and assembly processes while adhering to established DoD guidelines
- Possess an active DoD Secret security clearance
Desired Skills
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and basic inspection techniques to verify dimensional accuracy and functional integrity of fabricated components
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or other inventory tracking software to support efficient production operations
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proven ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve assembly issues, contributing to continuous process improvement
