Description

• Developing and maintaining detailed project management plans that align with DoD contract specifications and strategic objectives
• Overseeing project lifecycle activities, ensuring timely execution of deliverables, effective resource allocation, and adherence to budget constraints
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to synchronize project efforts and resolve issues promptly
• Monitoring project performance by tracking key performance indicators and conducting regular risk assessments to mitigate potential delays
• Preparing comprehensive status reports and presentations, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement and decision-making

Requirements

• Seven plus years experience in a project management specialist role
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Demonstrated ability to develop, monitor, and manage comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resources in accordance with DoD contract requirements.
• Proven expertise in coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution and alignment with mission objectives.
• PMP (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
• Possess an active DoD secret security clearance

Desired Skills

• Proficiency with project management software tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) to enhance planning and tracking efficiency
• Experience with agile and lean project management methodologies to drive continuous process improvement
• Strong analytical and risk management skills to anticipate project challenges and implement proactive solutions
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement
