This role puts you at the center of mechanical system design-from concept through installation-working on complex industrial equipment alongside experienced engineers and cross-functional teams.

What You'll Do

• Design, modify, and enhance automated mechanical systems and industrial equipment.
• Create detailed layouts, installation drawings, and as-built documentation using modern CAD tools.
• Integrate third-party mechanical and electromechanical equipment into existing and new system designs.
• Execute engineering changes, drawing updates, and configuration control within PLM systems.
• Support manufacturing, assembly, and site-specific installation efforts.
• Participate in field installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting ️
• Partner with senior engineers and project managers to hit schedules and delivery milestones.
• Collaborate across internal teams, suppliers, and external integrators
• Apply best practices in sheet metal design, hardware selection, fastening, and cable management.
• Drive continuous improvement focused on safety, reliability, maintainability, and performance ⚙️

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
• 3-7 years of hands-on mechanical engineering experience in industrial equipment or systems design.
• Experience producing manufacturing and installation-ready drawings.
• Solid working knowledge of GD&T and ASME standards.
• Comfort supporting work beyond the desk-manufacturing floors, installation sites, and field deployments.

Technical Toolbox

• Mechanical design of industrial equipment, systems, and assemblies.
• Manufacturing and installation support engineering.
• Exposure to IoT-enabled systems and basic industrial connectivity.
• CAD & PLM experience: AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, PTC Creo, Windchill.
