Site Engineer

Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency, is seeking a Site Engineer to join our Client's team.

This is a team deputy/admin position on the C2BMC Deployment Team that requires managing the admin tasks for the team, multiple projects in parallel, and managing pop-up tasks that occur.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparation and review of site drawings and plans
• Review of the content and details of technical products
• Acting as a technical interface to Missile Defense National Team (MDNT) working level counterparts, and the MDA customer
• Document work to be completed via Agile methodologies, update as required, and work with team leadership on work completion
• Develop Basis of Estimates (BOE) and Engineering Estimates (EE), providing hours estimates and justification to complete, along with installation material estimates.

A successful Site Engineering deputy will be a member of a focused team, who will interface with peer-level team members, the Deployment Team Leadership, and NT management to ensure high-quality products are generated on time and within the resources available. This position will also require the ability to work with a team in person and remotely. Some travel is possible.

Basic Qualifications:

• Emerging authority typically with an advanced degree and 7+ years experience or bachelors with 9+ years experience or equivalent; applies extensive expertise; solves complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity; work is performed without appreciable direction and is reviewed for desired results from a relatively long time perspective; erroneous decisions would normally result in failure to achieve major organizational objectives; may function in project leadership roles and represents the organization as prime customer contact on significant technical matters on contracts.

The selected applicant should possess:

• The ability to work on multiple projects concurrently in a team environment requires limited guidance
• Knowledge of engineering concepts, principles, and techniques, and be proficient in Microsoft Visio (other, equivalent professional drawing programs desired) and Microsoft Excel, plus have a strong understanding of drafting and hardware engineering standards
• A basic understanding of networks (VLANs, switch stacking, routers, etc.)

Supporting engineering tasks in the following areas:

• Technical-related meetings, configuration control, and Bill of Materials development
• Provide drafting and design engineering during the system design, development, and deployment activities
• Control and manage all drawings for the program
• Completing required documentation and drawings in accordance with the Systems and/or Hardware Engineer's direction
• Work with fielding and mission-success organizations to ensure timely and accurate documentation. Working knowledge of Agile methodologies.

Previous experience in:

• Systems Engineering/Hardware Engineering; fluent in the Microsoft Office suite of products; project management; strong communication skills with a proactive mindset; C2BMC experience highly desired.
