As a Network Engineer on our team, you will work with U. S. Navy personnel to assist in migrating data to temporary networks built by you. Our team supports continuity of day-to-day operations while US Navy ships are undergoing extended periods of maintenance and upgrades. Position is on the Rota, Spain, Naval base.

Job Summary:
As a Network Engineer on our team, you will work with U. S. Navy personnel to assist in migrating data to temporary networks built by you. Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of network communications
- Configure various network devices and services.
- Troubleshoot network issues within established guidelines.
- May assist with network architecture design, feasibility, and cost studies.
- Work on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed.
- Draft reports based on metrics gathered during system health checks.
- Maintain, configure, and deploy network devices such as servers, switches, and routers in support of fleet maintenance periods.
Requirements:
- Requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, or engineering or its equivalent.
- Requires1-2 years of related experience.
- U.S. Citizen eligible for DoD security clearance.
- Must have knowledge of the Internet, computer, routers, switches, firewall, etc.
- In-depth understanding and practical knowledge of networking systems such as LAN, firewalls, routers and printers
- Ability to design, implement and troubleshoot Wi-Fi and security infrastructure
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to travel up to 25%
- Must have or be able to obtain a passport
- Time management
- Ability to manage several projects simultaneously from design to implementation
- Ability to communicate technical information to other technical team members but also to coworkers in other departments who may not have knowledge of networking technical terminology
