Ammunition Management Analyst
The Opportunity:
As an Ammunition Management Analyst, you ask questions others don't. You understand the nuances of complex situations. You use your skills to think bigger and push further, solving complex problems. We're looking for someone like you to help create solutions for missions that keep our nation safe.
You will assist U.S. Army client staff with training ammunition management, leveraging your expertise to oversee distribution, authorization, usage, and forecasting. You'll ensure compliance with established policies, support staff visits and inspection programs, analyze ammunition data to resolve support issues affecting training, and produce reports that enable subordinate commands to plan operations effectively. You'll also assist in reviewing annual training ammunition requirements. You'll assist in building and supporting the TAMIS program at the Army Readiness Training center while fostering collaboration and communication across stakeholders.
As an instructor and content facilitator in Total Ammunition Management Information System (TAMIS), you'll support the client's Major Subordinate Commands (MSCs). Develop, implement, and evaluate TAMIS curriculum based on adult learning principles and proficiency requirements. Maintain flexibility to tailor training to learner's needs as necessary. Provide and facilitate TAMIS training through classes, workshops, or seminars and through help desk technical assistance. Provide competency-based and proficiency-based training with a focus on skill development and knowledge retention.
In addition to ammunition management, you'll help collect and manage training readiness data and preparing reports. Support the Training Readiness Inspection Program by troubleshooting issues, system changes, updates, and modifications for the Major Subordinate Commands (MSCs), including assisting with hierarchy management and user accounts. Prepare and review Warning Orders, Operations Orders, Fragmentary Orders, and external source taskers to support training readiness. Assist with program reviews, provide recommendations, track changes, and coordinate orders from internal sources to ensure comprehensive support for training operations.
You'll impact the work we do for the US Army client and the solutions we deliver for building military readiness.
