- You will assist and advise in the day-to-day operations and administrations of the division by coordination the efforts of approximately 100 employees through branch and support managers.
- You will be responsible for management of personnel assigned, including effective employee utilization and position management, department organization, structure and staffing allocation and resolution of grievances and complaints.
- You will ensure the responsible use of manpower and facilities and establishment of sound business procedures, hours of operation, services, prices, fees, purchases and capital improvement.
- You will develop and justify the division's appropriated and non-appropriated budgets in excess of 3.1 million and identifies necessary changes.
- You will oversee the following programs; Health Promotion and Nutrition, Fitness, High Intensity Tactical Training, Grounds, Sports, Aquatics, Single Marine Program, and Auto Skills.
- You will serve as the Semper Fit Division Recreation and Safety Manager.

- You will be required to walk and stand in order to supervise and monitor programs. Special events require extensive standing, walking, and outdoor work and prolong exposure to the elements.
- You will be required to lift up to 25lbs.
- Duties will require routine travel between MCAS Beaufort, Laurel Bay military housing, MCRD Parris Island and the various buildings.
- You will be required to possess and maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications.
