Job Description
ECS is seeking a Director, Cyber Programs to work in a hybrid in our Arlington, VA office.
ECS is seeking an inspiring and strategic cybersecurity executive to lead a flagship federal cyber program driving enterprise-scale risk reduction and resilience across the Federal Civilian Executive Branch (FCEB). This leader will shape the cyber vision, engage directly with senior government stakeholders, and deliver innovative, mission-aligned solutions that strengthen our nation's cybersecurity posture. This role goes beyond program management-it requires a leader who can connect vision to action, build and maintain trusted relationships, and motivate teams to deliver results that matter to both mission and nation. The successful candidate will serve as a Director for one of ECS's most visible and strategic programs. The Director is accountable for all aspects of program delivery, achieving successful execution of all technical, schedule, cost, and quality performance of this program.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Define and drive a multi-year cybersecurity strategy and roadmap aligned with federal priorities and customer mission objectives.
- Executive Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior federal cyber leaders-building partnerships, understanding their challenges, and helping shape FCEB-wide cyber visions and investment priorities.
- Ensuring flawless Program Execution: Lead a team of 200+ cybersecurity, engineering, and mission professionals, ensuring operational excellence, meeting all quality metrics and achieving 'Excellent' Award fee ratings while maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
- Innovation & Impact: Introduce creative, scalable solutions that deliver measurable risk reduction and operational efficiency across diverse environments.
- Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate strong, lasting relationships across multiple agency stakeholders, driving alignment, transparency, and confidence in program outcomes.
- Growth & Expansion: Oversee all aspects of contract performance and strategic growth, including capture, recompetes, and adjacent opportunities.
- Mission Enablement: Inspire teams to deliver beyond compliance-focusing on advancing cyber maturity, threat awareness, and mission resilience.
- 16+ years of progressive leadership in cybersecurity and federal program management.
- Demonstrated success leading large, high-impact federal cyber initiatives with enterprise-wide visibility.
- Proven ability to influence and align senior stakeholders around a shared cybersecurity vision.
- Strong record of building trusted executive relationships and delivering business growth in dynamic government environments.
- Expertise in strategic planning, risk management, and cybersecurity modernization for federal missions.
- Demonstrated success managing cross-functional and matrixed teams to achieve complex program outcomes.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills-able to articulate "why cyber matters" to mission success.
- PMP certification and active Top Secret Clearance.
- CISSP certification or equivalent credential
- SAFe Certification and experience
- Experience in product release planning and management
- Experience leading FCEB cybersecurity programs.
- Recognized thought leadership in cybersecurity, risk management, or federal modernization.
