Junior Developer

The Opportunity

The Junior Developer is responsible for supporting the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications while collaborating with senior engineers to deliver reliable solutions in a team-based environment.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

• Assist in designing, developing, modifying, and implementing software applications under guidance from senior engineers
• Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications and development environments
• Help diagnose and troubleshoot basic issues in software applications and systems
• Participate in testing activities, including test case execution, bug validation, and documentation of results
• Collaborate with team members through meetings, messaging platforms, and documentation to understand requirements and provide support
• Contribute to the development of small tools, scripts, or customizations to improve team efficiency
• Support infrastructure and development environments to help ensure smooth day-to-day operations
• Provide regular status updates and communicate progress, challenges, and questions to the team
• Demonstrate cooperation, adaptability, and a positive attitude while learning new technologies and responding to changing priorities
