Electrical Engineer

Description

• Assisting in the design, development, and testing of electrical components and systems in compliance with contract specifications and industry standards
• Supporting the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems to ensure continuous and reliable operation
• Interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and other documentation to facilitate precise system installations and modifications
• Collaborating with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and system upgrades
• Maintaining comprehensive records of maintenance activities, testing procedures, and system performance for continuous improvement and regulatory compliance

Requirements

• Three or more years of experience in a Electrical Engineering role
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering discipline, computer science or IT discipline, or technical discipline
• Demonstrated ability to assist in designing, developing, and testing electrical systems by following established engineering principles and contract guidelines
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, technical drawings, and related documentation to ensure accuracy in implementation
• Skilled in using basic diagnostic instruments and techniques to troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a support environment
• Possess an active DoD Secret security clearance

Desired Skills

• Familiarity with electrical design and simulation software (e.g., MATLAB, SPICE) to enhance system analysis and validation
• Exposure to modern control systems and automation technologies for process improvement and troubleshooting efficiency
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to evolving technical requirements
• Effective communication skills to support seamless collaboration with engineering teams and end-users

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
