MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Data Engineer to join our team. This is fully remote position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Analyze data ecosystems and workflows to identify optimization, improve interoperability, and resolve technical inefficiencies.
- Assess data pipeline designs against requirements to identify gaps and suggest remediations.
- Provide expertise in cloud-based database tools design and operations to optimize data management processes.
- Assess compliance with data requirements, formats, sharing agreements, and DoD data policies.
- Support data archival needs and facilitate data modification/transformation as required.
- Manage data libraries and oversee data flows to ensure efficient and secure data management practices.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand and address data service requirements effectively.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 10+ years' technical experience, with a strong background in IT consulting, data engineering, systems integration, or enterprise architecture.
- 8+ years' experience data management including unstructured, geospatial, or sensor-based data.
- Experience with cloud migration projects and related technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Proven ability to analyze complex customer problems and propose technical solutions.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related issues.
- Previous experience in a technical consulting role for large-scale government or enterprise transformation projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience supporting Department of War (DoW) or US Air Force (USAF) programs.
- Experience with creating, maintaining, and integrating ontologies (e.g., Protege, semantic web technologies, knowledge graphs, etc.).
- Experience integrating data into modeling and simulation (M&S) standards, digital engineering environments, or live, virtual, and constructive (LVC) platforms.
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Must have a current/active Secret security clearance
- Ability to obtain a TS/SCI preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to travel (10% or less).
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
