JOB TITLE: Facilities Liaison/Senior Project Manager
AGENCY SUPPORTED: Department of Homeland Security (DHS) - USCIS OIT Architecture Engineering Support (AES2)
LOCATION: Burlington, VT (onsite)
POSITION TYPE: Full-time
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability security clearance, which typically requires 2-4 weeks for processing and must be completed prior to the start date.

The Facilities Liaison / Project Manager supports the AES2 program by managing and coordinating all facilities-related initiatives across multiple sites. This role serves as the primary point of contact between site leadership, facilities teams, vendors, and traveling staff to ensure facilities projects are executed on schedule, within contract periods of performance, and in alignment with operational and technical requirements. The position requires strong project management discipline, stakeholder coordination, and experience supporting complex, multi-site IT environments.

Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and coordinate all AES2 facilities-related projects, including active initiatives and planned site work.
- Serve as the primary liaison between site leadership, facilities teams, contracts personnel, vendors, and traveling staff.
- Coordinate logistics for personnel traveling onsite in support of facilities and infrastructure activities.
- Work closely with contracts teams to ensure vendor engagement and equipment deployments align with contract terms and Periods of Performance (PoP).
- Lead and facilitate regular status calls to provide updates to site leadership and program stakeholders.
- Engage with Facilities team representatives to understand site plans, timelines, and infrastructure requirements.
- Track project milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables across multiple facilities and time zones.
- Coordinate with vendors delivering interrelated services to ensure seamless execution and minimal operational disruption.
- Ensure facilities projects align with broader IT and operational initiatives across the AES2 enterprise.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- Seven (7) or more years of experience in project and program management.
- At least five (5) years of experience managing IT projects and programs across a multi-time zone, multi-facility enterprise.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI.
- Working knowledge of DevOps concepts and modern IT delivery practices.
- Demonstrated experience interfacing with multiple stakeholders and third-party vendors responsible for delivering interdependent services.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Must be eligible to obtain DHS Suitability clearance.
DESIRED:
- Experience supporting federal government programs or large-scale enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with facilities, infrastructure, or site readiness initiatives within an IT program context.
