Position Summary
The Avionics FSR will provide maintenance, modification and test capabilities for fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft at domestic or overseas locations. The FSR will ensure aircraft avionics systems are in good condition and safe for flight.

FAA/FCC avionics certification(s) required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of aircraft to ensure operational availability.
- Perform electrical and/or avionics modifications to aircraft
- Lead, train, and direct contractor personnel in familiarization, maintenance and modification of aircraft systems
- Maintain and update aircraft records and documentation in hard copy and computerized systems.
- Identify and source materials for aircraft maintenance and modifications.
- Receive material and update material inventories.

- Ten (10) years' experience
Education
The minimum level of education required is:
- High school diploma
- Industry/military training in aircraft avionics systems
Desired Requirements
The desired skills, knowledge, and education include:
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license
Other Qualifications
Outside of the above, other certifications, licenses, or clearances include:
- Secret clearance
- US Citizenship
- Physical requirements for the job include ability to work safely on the exterior and interior of aircraft, either outdoors or inside hangar. Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds and comply with OSHA standards.
