The Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) Specialist provides advanced subject matter expertise in counter-WMD policy, strategic planning, and program support to the U.S. Army Nuclear and Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction Agency (USANCA). This critical role involves providing research, analysis, and staff support to help the Army anticipate, prevent, and mitigate threats posed by WMDs. The CWMD Specialist coordinates with Army leadership and external stakeholders-including the Department of Defense, Joint Staff, and interagency partners-to support policy development, implementation, and compliance activities. This role is central to ensuring the Army's readiness and strategic advantage in addressing emerging WMD threats in a dynamic federal security environment.

Responsibilities :
- Provide expert analysis of U.S. Government, Department of Defense, Joint, and Army guidance on countering WMD and support the development of Army CWMD policy and strategies
- Collect, analyze, and report operational and strategic information related to CWMD planning, assessments, and readiness
- Support the organization and execution of working groups, steering committees, and high-level meetings such as the Army Council for Countering WMD (ACCWMD)
- Prepare executive summaries, after-action reports, trip reports, and significant activity briefs for senior Army leaders
- Monitor emerging CWMD policies, doctrine, and capability requirements and provide recommendations to Army and DoD leadership
- Coordinate with interagency and coalition partners to ensure unified CWMD efforts
- Maintain and update classified and unclassified CWMD reference materials, POC lists, and task trackers
- Assist with planning and support for major Army and DoD CWMD events, exercises, and conferences
- Ensure compliance with all CWMD-related contract deliverables and reporting requirements
